As a Senior Associate specializing in Major Projects & Infrastructure for our client, you will play a pivotal role in delivering top-tier legal counsel and support for projects shaping Australia's infrastructure landscape. Collaborating with experienced professionals, you will contribute to the firm's legacy of providing exceptional legal services.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to guide major projects and infrastructure initiatives. Advise clients on legal aspects of project development, including regulatory compliance and risk assessment. Draft, review, and negotiate a range of project-related agreements and contracts. Collaborate across practice areas to provide holistic legal solutions tailored to clients' needs. Participate in client meetings, offering strategic insights and legal perspectives.
Additional Responsibilities:
Lead due diligence processes for project acquisitions. Engage with government authorities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Law from a recognized university. Admission to the Australian legal practice as a solicitor. 5 + years of experience in major projects and infrastructure law, preferably within a reputable law firm. Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate legal concepts into practical advice. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities. Collaborative and adaptable mindset.
