About the role We now have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Associate tojoin our team and work with a wide range of government and not forprofit clients on complex commercial, regulatory and administrativelaw matters.
These include energy, procurement, commercial and technologyadvice, projects and transactions which will support our expandingState and Commonwealth government practices. The role will requirethe successful candidate to advise on procurement strategies andmarket engagement, drafting and negotiating contracts, advising oncontract performance, administrative law, advising on legislativedevelopment, implementation and compliance, and providingregulatory advice.
This is a great opportunity to develop a detailed understandingof the drivers governing how government clients operate and tobecome an expert in this space.
About you We are looking for a Lawyer who has experience in a corporate orcommercial team in private practice/in-house. You will also havethe following skills and experience:
Have the ability to demonstrate exceptional drafting skillsand an eye for detailBe an independent thinker, comfortable with learning newconcepts quicklyParticipate in activities that build teamwork andrelationshipsWorking with government, on matters for government, or in aregulatory environmentAcquire skills in building and sustaining long term clientrelationshipsIn turn, you will be joining a close-knit team that issupportive and will provide you with the opportunity to develop andprogress your career.
