About the Role Hastings Deering is on the hunt for a Senior Application Advisor to join our Technology Support team. This is a Permanent, lifestyle roster role (5 days on 5 off, 4 on 4 off) based out of our Acacia Ridge office.
As a Senior Application Advisor:
You will serve as the subject matter expert for our Mining and Construction technology systems, providing technical guidance and support to both customers and internal teams. Your role will focus on helping users maximize the value and performance of these systems by offering expert advice, resolving technical issues promptly, and driving improvements. Additionally, you will foster a culture of innovation and growth, ensuring our technological capabilities continue to evolve and deliver optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities: Serve as an escalation point for Application Advisors when handling complex technology issues, providing guidance and support to ensure effective resolutions. Work with CAT in driving resolutions for complex issues and act as the conduit between our customers and the CAT support team. Manage, update, and resolve technology-related issues, supporting customer incidents and requests within the Technology Support Desk space. Support our System Specialists in deployments and upgrades of MineStar systems. Craft support documentation for technology-related incidents and requests to assist with resolutions and/or effective adoption of new technology for the Technology support desk Knowledge base. Field customer and technician phone calls for guidance on troubleshooting technology systems. Why Hastings Deering? MineStar application suite both onboard hardware and office applications (Fleet, Terrain, Command, Safety Systems). Strong communication skills both verbal and written. Experience as a mine site technician, onboard specialist, machine control guidance technician, auto electrician or other related experience in Mining Technology. Minimum (3) years experience in a similar role. Previous experience working in high performing teams. Experience with Caterpillar Construction technology products and/or services (VisionLink, Cat Grade etc). To Apply: Hit the 'Apply Now' button.
