An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Analyst to join a dynamic and forward-thinking team. This role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced environment, where you will be responsible for delivering business insight and reporting.
What you'll do: Production of daily P&L's and control activities, balance sheet review, commentary, and month-end GL substantiation and financial reportingWork directly with front line traders and management located in Sydney and other global officesDeliver on key risk indicators and enhance the current control frameworkProvide analysis and business commentary to front office and finance stakeholdersInvolvement with Regulatory and Disclosure reporting requirementsIdentify and implement process changes to improve team quality and productivityAssist with ad-hoc change projects where required (e.g new product setup, new accounting standards and/or policies)What you bring: Tertiary qualifications in Commerce or Accounting equivalent degreeUnderstanding of Financial instruments Accounting and ValuationStrong Microsoft Excel skills.
