Senior Advisor
Full-time Hybrid Role – Based in Brisbane, with 3-4 days in the office and the option to work from home.

Step into a dynamic Senior Advisor role at Barclay Pearce Capital (BPC), a leading financial services firm, where you'll drive capital raising, corporate advisory, and deal management activities. In this role, you'll work with innovative companies, managing captivating transactions across Australian and global markets. You'll create and present tailored investment portfolios, craft bespoke investment strategies, and oversee high-value deal flows—Pre-IPO, IPO, and on-market placements—ensuring seamless execution through collaboration with internal teams and high-net-worth clients.
This hybrid position offers the flexibility to work 3-4 days in a shared office workspace, with the remaining days working from home. You'll also enjoy occasional travel to the Sydney Head Office for key meetings, team events, and strategic initiatives. With flexible KPIs and the potential for uncapped earnings, you'll have the opportunity to drive your own success within a high-performing team while contributing to the overall growth of BPC.
About the team:
As a Senior Advisor in the BPC Asset Management division, you will be based in Brisbane, working alongside an Analyst. You will report directly to the Director of Strategic Partnerships, who operates from the Sydney Head Office and visits at least fortnightly. You will stay closely connected to the wider firm of 20 colleagues, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment with the firm's strategic goals.
This role is focused on: Building and maintaining solid relationships with clients, understanding their financial goals, risk tolerance and investment preferences.Developing investment strategies aligned with client's objectives and risk profiles.Recommending suitable investment products, such as equities, bonds, mutual funds and alternative investments, based on thorough market research and analysis.Monitoring and reviewing investment portfolios regularly, adjusting strategies as per market conditions and clients' changing needs.Providing clients with ongoing financial advice and guidance, addressing their queries and providing proactive wealth management solutions.Collaborating with external partners, such as tax advisors, legal professionals and estate planners, to offer comprehensive financial solutions to clients.Staying updated with market trends, economic developments and regulatory changes to provide accurate and timely advice to clients.Your responsibilities: Organise client meetings to discuss financial goals, risk tolerance and investment preferences.Develop wealth management strategies, including portfolio allocation and retirement strategies.Monitor and review clients' financial progress regularly, ensuring alignment with their objectives and making adjustments.Conduct in-depth research and analysis of investments and other financial matters to provide informed advice.Evaluate investment opportunities, considering factors like risk, return potential and liquidity.Provide ongoing financial advice and guidance to clients, keeping them informed about market trends, investment opportunities, and potential risks.Monitor and review investment performance, conducting periodic portfolio rebalancing to align with clients' objectives.Collaborate with external teams to coordinate complex financial transactions, such as estate transfers and charitable giving.Participate in industry conferences and seminars to expand knowledge and network with potential clients.What we are looking for: Extensive experience in corporate advisory, capital raising, or senior advisory roles in financial services, managing high-value transactions for high-net-worth clients.Established high-net-worth client base with proven ability to nurture relationships and drive business development.Strong financial acumen, including creating, reviewing, and interpreting financial models, valuations, and deal documentation.Exceptional sales and communication skills, adept at influencing and engaging high-net-worth clients and business partners, with demonstrated success in capital raising.Proactive and results-driven, passionate about growing client portfolios and expanding business opportunities.Comfortable working autonomously in a standalone Brisbane role, with close collaboration with the Sydney team.Collaborative team player with a positive attitude, contributing to a high-performance culture.Degree in Business, Commerce, or related field, with RG146 certification.Motivated by a flexible, hybrid work environment and team-oriented approach.What's in it for you?
