One of these projects is the Eyre Peninsula Desalination Plant based in Port Lincoln.We are seeking a Senior Safety Advisor (based in Port Lincoln) to be a part of the delivery team ensuring we are meeting our internal safety standards and relative legislation requirements.Key accountabilities for the positionReporting into the Safety Manager you will be responsible for:Undertaking regular and systematic audits covering management systems, safe work procedures, behavioural safety and preventative measures, requiring you to undertake thorough risk assessments of and assess all tasks and activities.Undertake site safety walks, either with the client or management, ensuring close out of all corrective actions.Provide HSEQ support, advice and assistance to all project personnel.Carry out and provide support during incident investigations.Help facilitate and have a consistent presence at pre-start meetings and toolbox talks.Flexibility & willingness to be based in Port Lincoln but travel to Adelaide as required.Advise our Engineers on and assist them with the preparation of "Work Package" construction documentation, being:A fit for purpose Project Management Plan (PMP);Fit for purpose Construction Safety Procedures;Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS);Plant Hazard Risk Assessments (PHRAs); andRelated Quality documentation and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).Required Skills and CompetenciesSkills & Experience RequiredYou will have a minimum of a certificate IV in Work Health & Safety, but further tertiary study is highly regarded.You will be able to confidently assess a range of risks and potential hazards and put together safe working plans in line with Acciona's systems and processes.Advanced communication skills and an ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.What we offerAt ACCIONA, we offer a dynamic and challenging work environment where our employees can grow and develop their careers.
