Senior Accountant - Private Business & Family Advisory

The RoleYou will become a part of a fast-growing business unit with a broad range of clients from a number of industries. The Private Business Family Advisory team conducts the taxation and accounting needs of clients and provides unique advisory services with a niche market reputation. The successful candidate will take the job from start to finish and deal directly with the clients. Key responsibilities include:Reviews financial accounts, tax returns, business activity statements, and other work performed by team membersPrepares complex corporate and company tax returnsUnderstanding of relevant laws and standardsPrepares and reviews complex fringe benefits tax returnsPrepares and analyzes management reports for clientsGood knowledge of GST, Business Activity Statements, and moreAbility to prepare well-drafted reports for reviewPrepares and analyzes standard management reports for clientsWho we are afterThe candidate will ideally be in their final stages of completing their CA program with 3-4 years of experience within a business services division. We are particularly looking for:Reporting skillsExperience with family office and high net wealth clientsAbility to build strong relationshipsProblem-solving skillsConfident demeanor and client interface abilityStrong attention to detailOur business offers a structured career path, support for personal goals, and a salary range of $75,000-$95,000 package.
