They combine their competencies and passion with one common mission: to serve customers best!We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic professional to be part of a dynamic team which supports compliance, accounting and tax related activities across the APAC region.Responsibilities:Preparing and analysing consolidated annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, and ensuring that the statutory annual reports comply with accounting standards and regulations.Perform month end and year end close processes, including preparing various accounting journals, accruals, adjustments and submission of financial results into BCS reporting platform as per reporting timetable.Responsible for entering and monitoring new and existing leases in Lease Controller, preparing month end lease journals and timely submission of lease reporting.Prepare month end corporate department balance sheet reconciliations, supporting work papers and maintenance of financial account accuracy.Preparation of month end corporate departments financial reports, with budget and forecast variance analysis commentaries.Involvement in the budgeting process, collaborating with Corporate / Support function departments to establish financial goals and developing forecasts based on historical data and future expectations.Assist with the preparation of four legal entities Income tax returns, Quarterly tax forecast and other tax compliance work as required.Assist with the timely preparation and lodgement of monthly ANZ BAS returns, PAYG income tax payments and annual FBT returns.Assist in audit preparation and liaise with external auditors.Responsible for the maintenance of Corporate department fixed assets register and depreciation calculations.Prepare various ad hoc reports from Corporate / Group Finance, perform data analysis, and produce meaningful and useful financial reports as needed.Support with other ad-hoc projects or priorities that may support operational and business success as required.What will help you to succeed?Tertiary qualified in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or equivalent Business discipline.Minimum of 5 years experience post CA/CPA qualification.Must be proficient in Excel, Intermediate to Advance level.Must be able to problem solve, meet deadlines and organise competing priorities.How to Apply?Your application must be submitted via SEEK and must consist of the following:A cover letter (1-2 pages max) outlining how you meet the requirements of this role;A copy of your updated resume.Your application will include the following questions:How many years' experience do you have as an accountant?Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?Do you have experience completing ad hoc and month end reporting?Have you completed a chartered accountant (CA) qualification?How much notice are you required to give your current employer?What's your expected annual base salary?Are you willing to undergo a pre-employment medical check?
