Senior Accountant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join a global alternative asset manager specialising in private credit, real estate and hospitality. This role offers the chance to be part of a team that believes in the unlimited potential of their people and clients. Based in Sydney, you will be responsible for the preparation of timely, accurate and reliable financial reporting for the Group. With a generous salary package of $125,000 + Super, this is an opportunity not to be missed.What you'll do:Supporting the Group Financial Reporting team for year-end and half-year ASX Group financial reporting and audit processes.Journal preparation and posting as well as balance sheet reconciliations and substantiation.Ensuring accuracy and completeness of legal entity balances, including assisting with dividend and solvency processes in line with Group policy.Ensuring integrity, accuracy and completeness of month-end and reporting period end close processes.Assisting with the completion of technical accounting papers on significant accounting estimates and judgements.Identifying and implementing opportunities for automation, process improvement and efficiency.Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the Group as well as external auditors.Providing support for key finance systems administration tasks.What you bring:CA or CPA qualificationAt least 3 years post qualification experience in financial services or similar industryProven experience in supporting similar ASX-listed financial reportingIFRS technical knowledgeExperience in managing multi-currency group consolidationAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentHighly organised and detail-orientedExceptional verbal and written communication skillsAdvanced Excel skillsWhat sets this company apart:This company is a global alternative asset manager specialising in private credit, real estate and hospitality.
