About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-level accounting services to our clients, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and delivering expert advice on tax, financial planning, and business strategies. You will also play a key role in mentoring junior accountants and supporting the overall growth of the firm.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare financial statements, budgets, and tax returns for clients across various industries
Manage client portfolios and offer proactive advice on tax planning and business structuring
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and reporting requirements
Perform financial analysis and provide insights to improve client performance
Assist in auditing and compliance activities
Mentor and train junior staff, fostering their professional development
Liaise with clients to understand their business needs and offer tailored accounting solutions
Stay updated on changes to tax laws and accounting standards

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA or CA qualification (or working towards one)
Proven experience as an accountant, ideally with experience in a public practice
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Strong communication and client management skills
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
