We seek to provide a holistic service to our clients and work with them closely to meet their financial and business needs.JOB OPPORTUNITYWe are seeking a motivated Senior Accountant to join our business services team based in our Brisbane office. We are ideally looking for someone that is seeking personal mentorship, wants hands-on training with their managers/partner, and wants to accelerate their career development. As an integral member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality accounting services to a diverse range of clients. The successful candidate should also have an interest in mentoring our most junior team members.Responsibilities will include:Prepare financial statements for all entity typesConduct financial analysis to identify trends or irregularities in client accountsAssist clients with tax planning strategies and ensure compliance with relevant regulationsCollaborate with clients to resolve any accounting-related issues or discrepanciesProvide recommendations on improving financial processes for clients' businessesStay updated on changes in accounting standards or regulations that may affect clients' operationsInvolvement in tax advisory work including restructures, access to small business CGT concessions, inter-generational wealth transfer strategies and tax consolidation if desiredABOUT YOU?Our ideal candidate will have:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related fieldCommenced or eligible to commence CA or CPA programProven experience working as an Accountant in an Australian public practice firm is highly desirable (minimum 2-3 years)Strong proficiency in using accounting software systemsExcellent knowledge of accounting principles and practicesProficiency in financial reporting and analysisExperience with tax compliance, including preparation of tax returnsStrong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent problem-solving skills with curiosityEffective communication skills, both written and verbalWHY ROBERTS + MORROW?Are you wanting to be a part of a highly motivated team?
