Are you an experienced business services accountant seeking a new opportunity within a reputable and thriving professional services firm? We are currently representing a leading accounting and advisory firm specialising in accounting, legal, wealth management, and mortgage & finance services. Our client is looking for a skilled Business Services Senior Accountant to join their team.

As the Senior Accountant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional accounting and taxation services to a diverse portfolio of clients, including small to medium businesses and family groups. Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting a group of clients and delivering a quality service.

Responsibilities: Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.Prepare and lodge tax returns for individuals, companies, and partnerships, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.Collaborate with clients to develop budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow projections, providing valuable insights for decision-making.Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations, providing guidance and ensuring clients remain compliant.Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff, reviewing their work, and offering training and mentoring as needed.Maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor and point of contact for all financial matters, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.Requirements: CPA or CA qualificationMinimum 4 years of experience in public accounting or a similar roleStrong knowledge of accounting principles and regulationsProficiency in accounting software and other relevant toolsExceptional analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail and organisational abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsIf you are seeking a challenging and rewarding role where your contributions can make a significant impact, we encourage you to apply.
