The purpose of this position is to establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and potential clients of the Company, negotiating profitable sales in a professional manner.
This role ensures the achievement of gross profit income to budget levels established by the Company, with a focus on flooring contractors and the A&D sector.

The right person will have previous B2B account management experience in the building materials industry, particularly with a focus on A&D professionals.
**Package**: Starts at $91k - $110k base + $20k car + $20k - $40k bonus + super; possibly flexible upwards for the right candidate.
**Location**: Perth **Areas of Responsibility** **Sales** - Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume with assigned accounts, including A&D clients.
- Coordinate activities on projects with other Account Managers as required.
- Identify opportunities for new accounts, particularly within the A&D sector.
- Understand key buying influences within each project and their roles.
- Identify product and service opportunities tailored to A&D professionals.
- Effectively use and maintain accuracy in internal CRM tools and the Interface Advance selling process to document status and progress on all selling opportunities.
- Ensure timely and accurate use of the CRM, meeting agreed KPIs.
- Responsible for forecasting sales to A&D clients.
**Market Awareness** - Attend industry functions to develop market awareness and promote the Company's presence within A&D networks.
- Provide feedback on marketplace trends that could affect the Company, particularly in relation to design and architecture.
**Account Management** - Develop and maintain an account map of all identified accounts, including A&D firms.
- Create a territory and customer visit plan focusing on A&D professionals.
- Develop and document strategic objectives for nominated accounts with a focus on design-related needs and develop a SMART plan for each.
- Deliver on corresponding activities and KPIs.
- Conduct regular business performance reviews with nominated accounts.
**Internal Company Support** - Coordinate involvement of company personnel (e.g., supply chain, customer service, marketing, finance, custom design, other sales team members) to meet customer expectations, especially for A&D projects.
- Identify potential customer engagement improvements within the A&D sector.
**Reporting & General Duties** - Produce and work to an annual plan for product/service review of each client.
- Complete all required weekly/monthly/quarterly reports on time and engage in regular face-to-face updates.
- Ensure client database information is accurate and up to date.
- Maintain accuracy of quotes.
- Willingness and ability to complete additional tasks and projects as required by the business and requested by Management.

- Industry or associated industry knowledge, particularly in A&D. - Capability to work professionally under pressure in competitive situations.
- A current driver's license.
- Understanding of the financial aspects of the business.
- Formal qualifications in sales and/or marketing or a relevant field are highly regarded.
