With strengths in SME, Mid-Market and Specialty Segments, this brokerage has cemented a reputation as a trusted insurance and risk management advisor. The successful applicant will join the flagship branch of this business with an ambitious and collaborative culture.
The Role
This is an important role within the Western Australian (WA) branch. You will work closely with your Team Manager, the wider WA branch, and interstate stakeholders to play your part in the delivery of best-in-class insurance outcomes and insurance risk transfer solutions across the business. As the successful applicant you will:
Manage a portfolio of Mining Services clients. Work collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver the best possible outcome for clients with a focus on client retention, revenue generation through New Business and the delivery of the full range of our client's capabilities. Maintain strategic relationships with insurance carrier partners in all key markets and successfully negotiate appropriate risk transfer and placement solutions based on individual client risk profile. Monitor and review your own portfolio in support of a robust compliance, regulatory and legislative climate and help support clients and colleagues in support of great client outcomes across both General lines and ideally the Professional Services lines of Insurance. Provide high level of support to all team members and ensure that all requests are met in a timely and efficient manner. Process SME & Mid-Market new business, renewals and policy document preparation and maintenance. Support internal infrastructure that supports internal frameworks. Ensure provision of excellent service to clients and the highest quality input to insurers including quoting renewals, processing of endorsements/amendments, preparing correspondence between our clients and underwriters, updating reports, premium calculations and allocations where required at the client's direction. Skills and Experience that will lead to success
Strong technical understanding of a broad range of General Lines general insurance lines and ideally a fondness for an area where we may assist you in growing your expertise. A keen entrepreneurial spirit and flair for business development with excellent cross-selling abilities. Highly self-motivated to take ownership and accountability for development and execution of relationships at a senior level. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Team Player who works well with others, in support of a national focus on the General lines of business but also comfortable with helping nurture and support others in support of a focused approach to Professional Services. Diploma of Insurance Broking preferred with a minimum Tier 1 Broking Compliance required. Employee Benefits
