About the Role
This fast-paced and interesting role offers you the opportunity to utilise your experience in Defence and contribute positively to the safety and security of all personnel on base. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing customer service of the highest quality through your proactive, professional and sound approach. Duties include but are not limited to:
Observe activities associated with asset protection
Monitor CCTV footage and radio communication systems
Provide first aid and liaise with Police & Emergency Response Services
Review camera footage and write reports
Conduct foot patrols throughout the premises
Skills & Experience
Certificate II in Security Operations and security licence
First Aid and CPR certificate
Open driver's license
Customer service experience
Experience in monitoring a CCTV network
Hold or be willing to obtain an AGSVA security clearance
