Security Architect

Initial 3 month contract with a high chance of an extensionMust be able to work in the office at least 3 days a week (Melbourne, North Western suburbs).Must have demonstrated commercial experience in IT and information security skillsMust have experience engaging with IT and business users to design Cybersecurity architecture and implement security solutions.Our client is seeking an experienced Security Architect to join their team in Melbourne.
You will be responsible for:
Designing and implementing a secure architecture that protects the organisation's infrastructure, assets, and data.Selecting, implementing, and managing security controls.Uplifting security posture to align with best practices.Evaluating and selecting security vendors and managing security relationships with third-party providers.Contributing to the Cybersecurity strategies.Defining and operating a framework of security controls and security management strategies.To secure this role you will need: Experience developing and defining cybersecurity architectureSolid Cyber and IT Risk management principlesCertifications such as CISSP, CISM, ISSAP, or equivalent neededProven specialised skills and experience in information security a mustGovernment experience would be highly regardedTo be considered for the role click the 'apply' button.
