Management (Information & Communication Technology) Head of Data Governance / Melbourne CBD / Initial 6 months contract A reputable global firm is looking for a Head of Data Governance for an initial 6 months contract. They have a hybrid working model: 3 days in their Melbourne CBD office and 2 days working from home (WFH).
Our client would ideally like to have someone in this position before December, so candidates with a shorter notice period will be given preference.
The ideal candidate will have:
Led large teams (10-30 people) and fostered a collaborative culture. Developed and implemented data governance strategies aligned with organisational goals. Ensured the organisation's compliance with data protection regulations and information security standards . Collaborated with cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives and solve complex challenges. Maintained strong stakeholder relationships through effective communication . Knowledge of ITSM frameworks and how to apply them. Managed the budget for their area.
