The role is part of a team in the BreastScreen Queensland (BSQ) Program, Strategy and Coordination Branch (SCB), Queensland Public Health and Scientific Services (QPHaSS), providing the required program administrative and secretariat support for the BSQ Program through undertaking implementation and delivery of assigned tasks and activities. This role is required to contribute to the administration of processes that support the functioning of the BSQ program.Your key responsibilities:Assist with research, planning, monitoring, and tracking program deliverables and outcomes, including preparation of preliminary reports, schedules, and resources.Manage administrative business processes for the BSQ Program such as those relating to managing email enquiries and maintaining various registers.Assist with and undertake project/program work for the BSQ Program including but not limited to communication, engagement, strategy, and governance.Provide timely advice to internal and external stakeholders on the progress of designated projects, programs, and activities within the area of responsibility.The successful person will have demonstrated:High level oral and written communication skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective client relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Proficiency in delivering high-level administrative and project support, including the ability to quickly prioritize and adapt to changing demands in an industrially sensitive environment.Proficiency in managing multiple tasks and incoming requests to achieve effective results under tight deadlines.Ability to self-motivate and work autonomously, combined with a good understanding of when to collaborate and/or seek advice before making a decision.Ability to analyze issues, develop collaborative solutions, and adopt a proactive approach, with minimal direction, whilst delivering high-quality work.Well-developed skills in the use of email and Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.About usThe Department of Health is responsible for the overall management of the public health system in Queensland.
