As a Seating Clinician, you have access to fully equipped client assessment rooms, extensive range of demo equipment, state of the art workshop and experienced Seating Technicians to assist with client appointments, assessments, prescription, design and customisation of AT including mobility devices and seating solutions.Key Responsibilities:Provide clinical postural measurements, design, quoting, manufacturing, modification and fitting services.Work collaboratively with Seating Technicians and other therapists during AT assessments and reviews.Provide clinical input to support equipment recommendations including involvement in equipment scripting, product research, product purchasing and ensuring product compatibility.Identify and stay informed of new assistive technology, mobility products and services to support our ability to remain innovative and tailor solutions to meet individual participants' needs.Maintain effective workflow and timelines for scheduled appointments/services, maximising quality participant outcomes in an efficient manner whilst supporting and achieving claimable hour targets.Manage clinical caseload involving postural measurement, quoting, planning, design, manufacturing, modification, fitting and review of the appropriate mobility and seating device and or other assistive technology.What we offer:Community focused employer.Supportive and collaborative team environment, including flexible working conditions.Salary Packaging.Health and wellbeing programs including EAP and corporate health insurance discount.Career development and training opportunities.The opportunity to mentor and supervise new graduates and students.Onsite parking.St.Giles requires the following from you:Post-graduate qualification in a relevant field being Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy, with current AHPRA registration.Ability to supply and evaluate customised mobility and seating, and other support solutions to meet client needs.Experience in working with clients with high and complex needs and the ability to support other clinicians in developing these skills.Experience working with and knowledge of a wide range of disability types (including spinal injuries, neurosurgical, neurological, rheumatoid arthritis and ageing populations).Results-focused, highly organised, flexible and proactive approach with the ability to respond to continual changing priorities.Well-developed knowledge of the Disability Services Sector, including the National Disability Insurance Scheme.General understanding of Allied Health roles, funding processes and guidelines, principles of AT service delivery, common postural support strategies, and common disabilities, diagnoses and conditions.National Police Check (no older than 3 months).Current or ability to apply for Working with Vulnerable People Card/NDIS Worker Screening Check.If you are interested in learning more about St.Giles, our culture and some of our initiatives, please explore our website.
