Staff Specialist - Medical Oncologist (519888) Full time

The Role Provide a senior role in Medical Oncology and related services at the Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH). Provide inpatient and outpatient care to public and private patients of RHH in all aspects of Medical Oncology, including the RHH Medical Oncology outpatient clinic. Increase the RHH clinical services in Medical Oncology as required by the Head of Department. Be involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, and to be actively involved in research. Undertake quality improvement activities. Minimum Requirements: Holds specialist registration; or Is a registered Medical Practitioner who is an International Medical Graduate (IMG) on the specialist pathway; or Is a registered Medical Practitioner who is an International Medical Graduate (IMG) with a recognised overseas specialist qualification and sufficient experience in the specialty. Details of Appointment Fixed term, full-time day work (with on-call), working 76 hours per fortnight commencing 7 April 2025 until 6 April 2026 (12 months).
