The Sales Enablement & Operations (SE&O) Asia regional team plays an essential role in translating Microsoft's Commercial Strategy to a regional execution plan and driving operational excellence through the prism of enabling consistency, agility, and accountability.
Our team drives cross-functional insight and execution excellence, bringing strategy and priorities to life by accelerating the pace of transformation and enabling Microsoft to deliver business impact at scale.
The Strategy and Market Intelligence Manager in SE&O will partner across Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions (MCAPS) teams to drive insights across Customer Solution Areas to inform short, medium and long-term strategic plans that accelerate growth.
The successful candidate will partner with Regional and Area Leadership Teams to identify growth opportunities in the market, innovate to grow market share, and execute new strategies.
This role will also drive competitive insights to preempt competition across solution area competitors.
We are looking for a strategic, results-oriented, data-driven person who has a track record of executing well and quickly, can build and leverage relationships cross-functionally with executive presence, and who can influence without authority.
This role requires someone to be comfortable dealing with ambiguity, and operate with a "startup" mentality, potentially wearing multiple hats to ensure we achieve our business goals.
The successful candidate must be collaborative, outcome-oriented, and able to apply solution-based thinking to critical problems.

Responsibilities Business Strategy: Conducts market-based research on industry across TAM growth, customer demand and competitive trends.
Partners closely with finance, Go To Market and marketing teams on key customer trends to inform strategic plans.
Learns from Area leader feedback on current model friction that could be addressed through changes.
Problem Solving, Insight & Judgement: Synthesizes findings from research into Go to Market plan and other strategic projects.
Thinks through short-, medium-, and long-term implications of strategy and partners closely across business strategy, tech strategy and partner teams to make it a reality.
Provides prioritization for key changes and investment needed to drive growth.
Communication: Communicates and advocates strategy and insights to senior business leaders (e.g., Senior Directors, GM-level, CVP) and conveys viewpoints through simple and consistent frameworks.
Uses executive presence to drive influence for broader decisions that have implications on strategy.
Communicates changes clearly to stakeholders and teams.
Delivers learnings, recommendations, and implications to senior executives to facilitate ongoing feedback loop.
Business Management: Shows command of the business.
Understands key levers for growth, how they relate to the data and be able to prioritize which levers to pull to drive highest ROI.
Leads discussions on performance, taking data, customer and partner feedback and synthesizes into a simple story for executives to understand through forums such as the Monthly Business Review.
Culture: Lead work with optimism, clarity and empathy Have accountability for driving results and always learning Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years experience in business consulting, sales, sales operations, information technology (IT), account management, business development, marketing, IT field sales, or a related field OR equivalent experience.
3+ years experience in Strategy (3-5 years out), Management Consulting, or Finance.
