Exciting opportunity for an experienced accountant to take the role in managing all aspects of the accounting function for Taqwa School, which is an Independent and Islamic school Moncrieff, Canberra. Key responsibilities include: Processing accounts Weekly/fortnightly payroll Maintaining fixed asset registers, prepayment schedules etc Preparation of month end management reporting Preparation of monthly BAS Expense claims General administration Insurances Taxation Superannuation You will support and report to the Principal of the school. Applicants must be proficient in  Xero . Immediate start with handover provided. School will be open to consider scenarios of working from home in exceptional circumstances.
