Aps6 Financial Accountants

The Department Federal Government Department that aims to improve the wellbeing of individuals and families in Australian communities. The Role We are working on recruiting three APS6 roles for this client. You will be working in the Finance Services Branch providing technical accounting support in the preparation of their EOM and EOFY Departmental and administered financial statements. The responsibilities within the team also include the management of assets, including a number of leases and a diverse asset portfolio. You'll be supporting experienced EL1s, and an EL2 who value culture and outcomes. The roles will be offered as hourly rate contracts for an immediate start at the APS6 level. You will be working with a strong EL2 who has developed a strong sense of cohesion and solidarity with the team. They are looking for an asset specialist, as well as technical accountants for the administered/departmental reporting teams. Your Skills And Experience You are an experienced accountant with financial reporting experience from a government environment. the positions are technical accounting roles, you must be able to demonstrate your technical accounting capability and an understanding of the PGPA Act.
