Join the dynamic team with our client as an APS4 equivalent Scheme Debt Finance Officer.Located in Robina, QueenslandAbout the TeamJoin the Fraud Investigations Branch, a team dedicated to protecting the financial integrity of the Scheme. The branch plays a crucial role in detecting and preventing payment fraud and works with the Commonwealth's Fraud Fusion Taskforce to strengthen fraud detection and response capabilities. The Scheme Debt Team focuses on compliance with legislation, ensuring accurate collection, monitoring, and reporting of Scheme debts to support overall financial sustainability.About the RoleAs an APS4 Scheme Debt Finance Officer, you'll be a key contributor in managing Scheme debt, supporting compliance, and ensuring financial obligations are met. Working within established frameworks, you'll provide operational and administrative support, conduct research and analysis, and have a high level of interaction with internal and external stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Assist in managing the Scheme debt register, overseeing system-cancelled and unrecovered debts.Support debt recovery processes in accordance with Scheme Debt Management Policy, including coordinating with other teams, providers, and participants on payment arrangements, debt write-offs, and waivers.Prepare invoices, manage payment cancellations, and maintain accurate records.Contribute to developing Standard Operating Procedures and process mapping for the team.Extract, analyse, and report data from SAP/PSCD and other systems to support management reporting.Address inquiries regarding pending payments and bank account issues.Support project initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders across teams.About youTo thrive in this role, you need:Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.Proficiency in financial systems, particularly SAP/PSCD, is desirable.Ability to work within established frameworks and policies.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively across teams.Prior experience in debt management or finance support roles is a plus.Be able to pass and hold a national police check and worker screening check.Must be an Australian Citizen.To apply, please submit your updated resume and a brief cover letter detailing your relevant experience.
