About the role Join our inclusive Fixed Plant Maintenance Planning & Engineering team as a Scheduler Shutdown where you will have the opportunity to be part of a high performing, collaborative team.
In this role, your overall focus will be to develop an executable schedule for weekly, major and large-scale shutdowns based on maintenance and life of asset strategy.
Apply Lean Principles to ensure the shutdown schedule is optimised from a Safety, Schedule, Cost and Quality perspective.
Reporting to the MP&E Manager, your duties will include : Review internal and external labour, and equipment available capacity Review material availabilities and status Develop draft/first cut maintenance schedule (critical path*, task interactions, labour requirements, materials, shared equipment and tooling) for review Engage and arrange external contractors / suppliers (Generalist/Top-up) and maintain availabilities (CR12) Confirm and lock shared equipment required for scheduled period Confirm any schedule loss events are aligned to the planned events, and update key stakeholders and business systems (MSF) on any exceptions Confirm material and update delivery location and trigger expediting of parts where required view resource utilisation and schedule loading are with-in targets Liaise with execution leaders to confirm upcoming resource availability Identify critical issues – approvals, major lead time items, cores, resources, accommodation etc.
Work with stakeholders to resolve Collects and collates work management data for review and identification of improvement actions Re-schedule uncompleted task / operation (include following rescheduling of cores process) from current maintenance week (due to no identified planning issues).
Closeout any raised Contractor requirements including invoicing and payments in consolation with the execution team What you'll bring To be successfully considered for this role, you will have: Experience in maintenance scheduling / planning in the mining industry, mobile fleet / fixed plant / or utilities CMMS Maintenance Advanced computer skills Intermediate / Advanced use of MS office (Excel / Project) Mechanical aptitude Current 'C' Class Driver's License (Manual) A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team Respect for others and an all-inclusive mindset If you are excited about the role and think you have what it takes but your experience doesn't align 100% we still want to hear from you.
