Position: SchedulerStart: ASAPDuration: Permanent - Full timeSalary: $65k-75KHours: 38 hours per weekLocation: Tamworth, NSWOverviewJoin our team as a Scheduler where you will play a key role in rostering teams for the provision of traffic control services for our clients, coordinating fleet and ensuring efficient operations. This dynamic position requires strong organisational, administrative and computer skills, a passion for people and the ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment.Primary Purpose of the PositionSchedulers provide scheduling and rostering support to our organisation, playing a pivotal role in the seamless coordination of staff, traffic control services, fleet and equipment. Reporting to the Director and Head of Traffic, Schedulers use their organisational, communication and problem-solving skills to enhance efficiency to our operations.Key accountabilities/responsibilitiesRostering of staff and vehiclesScheduling high volume traffic control servicesMaximisation of fleet and equipment utilisationOrganise vehicle maintenance scheduleAssist with drug and alcohol testing if suitably qualifiedAccommodation bookingMonitor, allocate and control PPEAnswering calls and helping with service enquiriesAfter hours on call phoneEnsure client schedules are filledEnsure continuity of client service is maintainedReporting safety concerns to planner and managementCommunication of SWMS, TMP and TGSs to teamAssist with recruitment and induction of new staffTracking staff qualifications to ensure complianceUpdating database with client and employee details and notesOther duties as directed by the companyEssential Criteria1+ years' administrative and rostering experienceExperience in Traffic Control and/or Recruitment industry would be highly advantageousStrong computer and administrative skillsAbility to stay calm and maintain professionalism in a high-pressure environmentPassion for working with peopleConfident telephone mannerDetermination to succeedMotivated by challenges, deadlines and targetsAbility to multi-task and prioritise tasksSound communication skillsCreativity and problem-solving skillsGood teamwork skills and ability to work independentlyAppointments are subject to the following checks/clearances:Professional Reference ChecksRight to Work in AustraliaNational Criminal History CheckWhen applying for this role, please include a Word version of your resume (not PDF).
