The whole-of-nation effort to safely and securely deliver the cutting-edge nuclear-powered submarine program will transform Australia's economic and national security landscape for decades to come.The Schedule Manager will contribute a strong foundation of knowledge and the development and application of robust methodologies and techniques to provide planning, scheduling and technical advice to support the delivery of the SSN-AUKUS Phase 3 program. The ability to interpret and effectively analyse multiple sources of information, quantitatively and qualitatively, is also fundamental to the position.Key ResponsibilitiesDeveloping, preparing, and maintaining the program schedule and baseline.Develop and refine the scheduling team's performance metrics, evaluation and quality of reporting.Oversee task coordination, dependencies and critical path monitoring.Developing and supplying high-quality documentation for program schedule reporting.Collaborate with Australian Submarine Agency (ASA) and industry stakeholders to accurately develop and maintain schedules.Ensure the scheduling team's business processes and controls are documented and maintained appropriately.About our TeamSovereign Submarine Program Delivery Branch (SSPD) is accountable for identifying, in consultation with Australia's AUKUS partners, the most appropriate program delivery model and construction methodology, defining the infrastructure requirements, analysing and modelling the existing Australian industry and workforce capability and capacity, and undertaking the cost estimation of acquiring and sustaining the future Nuclear Power Submarine fleet.SSPD consists of the following directorates: Business and Operations, Build Test and Evaluation, Commercial Management, Engineering and Ship Yard Infrastructure. The SSPD project management team provides governance and assurance of the scope, cost, schedule, earned value management and risk to holistically understand, synthesise and report exceptions for management action.
