SAP Production Planning/Scheduling Officer Essence Group is seeking an experienced Planning & Scheduling Officer with a high level of SAP experience to assist with Production Operations at our South Nowra, NSW facility.
This is a full-time permanent position, working Monday to Friday with standard working hours of 7am to 4pm, or 8am to 5pm.

For further information visit Essence Group – Industry recognised and accredited food contract manufacturer (essencegp.com.au) Your new role In conjunction with the Production Supervisor and Operations Manager, duties will include: Plan and create the production schedule for our on-site manufacturing operations ensuring all known constraints are considered.
Maintain monthly forecasting with third party manufacturers and suppliers.
Identify and escalate risks and work closely with key stakeholders to mitigate these risks.
Maintain optimal inventory at DC level and mitigate any commercial impact on known 'out of stock' issues.
Conduct analysis to inform recommendations for the business planning process.
Ensure packaging materials and raw materials are available for production.
Partner closely with suppliers to ensure they are delivering to the prescribed Essence standards.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar position in a manufacturing environment.
FMCG experience is highly regarded.
Experience with short- and long-term planning, managing products from different manufacturing sites within Australia and overseas.
Proficiency (intermediate to advanced skills) in SAP production, booking and reconciliation systems.
Proficiency with MS applications Word and Outlook, Advanced Excel.
Flexible attitude with the ability to provide solutions to unexpected plan changes.
Ability to multi-task & work well under pressure.
Experience managing Bill of Materials.
Strong stakeholder management with experience managing internal and external stakeholders.
A continuous improvement mindset and initiative to drive improvements.
Business/ Finance Administration skills or equivalent will be an advantage.
