Do you excel when working collaboratively to generate ideas, achieve results and thrive in an exciting fast-paced environment?If so, keep reading as you might be exactly who we are looking for!The Salary Packaging Team helps all ACT Government employees who wish to salary package a variety of available benefits, including superannuation, novated leases and for those in eligible positions, living expenses, rent and mortgage.We are expanding the team with the creation of this exciting new position to work alongside the Assistant Director in promoting the benefits of salary packaging available to ACT Government employees.
Keen to get 'out and about', you will visit various ACT Government sites around town to spruik the benefits of salary packaging, so you will be highly motivated and confident in front of an audience.
With your superior organisational skills, you will also have a high degree of initiative and drive to generate innovative strategies to attract more ACT Government employees to take up the salary packaging benefits available to them.In this role, you will also support the Customer Service team to deliver effective and accurate salary packaging services to ACT Government employees when required.
As a valued Team member, you will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the confidence to answer customer phone and email enquiries clearly and concisely.
You will also be an effective team member, willing to help team members with processing and sharing your knowledge, to make a positive impact in the team while managing your own workload.If you have a passion for marketing, a flair for creativity and have high attention to detail and would like to join a positive and energetic team, we want to hear from you!Eligibility/Other Requirements: Applicants must have the right to work in Australia.Applicants must have a valid C class drivers' licence and willingness/ability to drive within the ACT.Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately for a period of six months with the possibility of permanency.This position is in a workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW).
Under ABW arrangements, officers do not have a designated workstation/desk.
A mix of working from home and office-based work is expected for this position.
