Communications Officer
Full-time Permanent Details: An exciting opportunity is available at Major Projects Canberra (MPC) to support communications, engagement and stakeholder engagement initiatives for the CIT Woden Campus project, and other projects as required.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced communications professional with an interest in infrastructure, community engagement and building positive relationships with stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience in content creation, developing and implementing communications strategies and writing for a range of different audiences and mediums. Good knowledge of and experience in planning and delivering contemporary stakeholder and community engagement activities. The ability to juggle elements of several projects at once, and to take ownership of communication activities and initiatives from end to end. Eligibility/Other requirements: Relevant tertiary qualifications or a minimum of 3 years' experience working professionally in the fields of communications and content production, media, public relations, marketing, or strategic communications is preferred. The ability to work flexibly with some out of hours work may be required. Notes: A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.
