Safety Manager

Based in Regional NSW, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading Global Engineering Group in the important position of Safety Manager on one of their major projects.The primary functions of the role are to ensure safety and health compliance and assist with environmental and quality compliance of the project. You will ensure all legislative, contractual, development, compliance, licensing, and auditing requirements of the project are met by site and management staff. Additionally, you will manage all certifications required, undertake and maintain all audits and training, and manage all safety integrations between your employer and the subcontractors.Essentially, you will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the engineering or construction industries. Previous experience in the Water/WWT or Oil & Gas Industry or Process Plant exposure/experience would be helpful, but is not essential.You must have a proven ability to operate effectively in the work environment and have exposure to handling a range of site safety issues. Effective communication at all levels on site is imperative to your success.
