As a result of their continued success, one of the Gold Coast's most revered emerging developer builders is seeking an experienced safety coordinator to join one of their Gold Coast site-based teams.

Your Position

To be successful in this role, you will have recent experience working in a safety position on high-rise residential or commercial construction projects directly for the builder. You will be able to communicate clearly and motivate and lead by setting a strong example to your peers. You will have a passion for safety and a meticulous work ethic.
You will be able to demonstrate working examples of when you have implemented the delicate balance between keeping a safe working site and being integral to maintaining the construction programme. Extensive experience in other construction fields such as mining, oil & gas, and civil construction will NOT be considered suitable experience.

Your Experience and Qualifications Must have recent experience in a safety capacity working on commercial and/or high-rise projects circa. $30m+Confidence in your abilities to communicate with Senior Management and other subcontractors alikeAbility to work both autonomously and as part of a teamExperience in writing reports, monthly and ongoing, as well as the ability to write and implement ongoing changes to policies and SWMSClear understanding of current OH&S/HSE legislationMust have a Cert IV in Health and Safety Your Career
