Combat Systems Integration (CSI) Operations Manager Saab Naval Combat Systems (NCS) is looking for a Combat Systems Integration (CSI) Operations Manager to join the Professional Services and Partnerships Team within Saab to support the Deputy General Manager Professional Services & Partnerships with the operational management of the CSI partnerships. The CSI Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring that all activities and plans to support the CSI operations are in place in a timely manner to ensure that we meet our contractual obligations to our customer and our partners.

Further, the successful candidates will:
Be the Saab main point of contact with our internal people as well as the Combat System Integration, Integrated Project Team (CSI IPT) for resource planning and all people related matters. Coordinate / participate in regular tactical and planning meetings regarding resource planning and allocation with our partners. Manage the communications with CSI partnerships and ensure there is an ongoing level of engagement, keeping morale high and providing a centralised reach-back point into Saab from the various CSI's. Working with the wider Saab team to respond to Integrated Project Team (IPT) resource requirements, including identification of suitable resources, provision of required data to the CSI-IPT and acting as a central point of contact for CSI-IPT resource management. Work across the Saab organisation to facilitate key stakeholder engagement into the IPT's as required within, Learning and Development, Engineering, Human Resources etc. Manage and coordinate with the Saab Talent Acquisition team the ongoing recruitment / movement activities, including resource planning, transitioning, induction coordination, coordination of on and off boarding and other people movement activities. Support a culture of continuous improvement in the CSI IPT including the identification and support of Saab initiatives to improve performance in the CSI IPT. With the CSI Project Management Associate (PMA), who reports into this role, manage all Project Administration activities in accordance to the Saab processes. Conduct other tasks as required by the Deputy General Manager Professional Services & Partnerships. Flexible work arrangements such as hybrid work from home / office and 9 day fortnight will be considered for this role.

About you Your skills and experience will include:
At least 5 years' experience in a Project or Operations Manager level role, preferably on large scale, complex technical projects. Experience in an alliance or partnership environment would be highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to lead staff within a team environment and to foster cooperation within and between teams. Proven ability in internal and external customer liaison, conflict resolution with strong negotiation skills. Ability to work with people to come to mutually agreeable terms. Demonstrated ability to work in a fluid, flexible environment as required by a developing partnership model. Excellent communication skills (both written and oral). Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Engineering or in a Business discipline (Desirable). As a defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants will be required to hold an Australian Defence Security Clearance to NV1 level or have the ability to gain one.
