About the Home Holly is conveniently located close to the southern end of the Southern Expressway, with the Onkaparinga River National Park close by. The home is situated on the bus route to Colonnades Shopping Centre less than 5kms away and connected by other transport routes to the wider metropolitan area.
About the Opportunity Reporting to the Hospitality Coordinator, we are actively seeking experienced Hospitality Assistants to join our team on a permanent part-time basis, working up to 40 hours per fortnight over a variety of shifts. This role will be predominantly working within our food services team.
Please note: While it will be based in the kitchen, the successful candidate may at times be asked to work within our cleaning and laundry services area.
Assist in the preparation and serving/plating of meals to residentsDishwashing and clearing of dishes from the dining rooms/residents' roomsDelivery of friendly and efficient food services to our residentsMonitoring of food quality, quantity and reporting of any issuesGeneral cleaning services of resident's rooms and public areas around the home to a high standard, such as removal of rubbish, cleaning bench tops, mirrors, handrails, basins, etc.Maintaining adequate supplies of cleaning materialsMaintaining accurate recordsTo be successful you must demonstrate the following: Basic Food Safety Practices CertificateAged Care or Hotel experience in Housekeeping/Cleaning & LaundryExcellent attention to detailSound food preparation experience (preferably in an Aged Care environment)Knowledge of kitchen and cleaning processes, standards, systems and equipmentWhat We Can Offer Salary packaging options and tax benefits of up to $15,900 plus additional $2650 in entertainment per year availableOngoing Training and CoachingA range of employee benefits & discountsEmployee Assistance ProgramPlease note: Our recruitment process involves the completion of a national police check.
