About the Home Bupa Morphettville is a charming care home set in a quiet suburb of Adelaide. It is close to the local community with the Glenelg tram, racecourse and a variety of small shopping centres and plazas just steps away. It consists of 132 beds, with a variety of care units. About You Previous catering/food service or cleaning experience preferred but not essential.You will be a team player and someone who enjoys interacting with people and giving back to our most vulnerable.Duties Maintain legislated workplace health and safety, quality and hygiene standardsComplete required documentation and reportingRespond to residents' queries and requestsLaundry duties include loading washers & dryers, sorting linen, hanging, folding, wrapping or ironing linenCatering/food services duties include assisting with basic food prep, providing meals and snacks, clearing dining areas and dishwashingCleaning duties include general cleaning; mopping, vacuuming, and waste collection in the residents' rooms, bathrooms, communal and living areasSkills and Experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsCleaning or catering experience preferred but not essentialFlexible availability for a variety of shifts throughout the weekUnderstanding of work health, safety and hygiene practices and the ability to work unsupervised.How to Apply Click Apply to be taken to our online application process.
