The organisation's vision is connecting communities through a modern, world-class rail service.The Roster and Timesheet Officer role supports the Day of Operations (DOO) roster function for the Rail Management Centre (RMC) - Control.
The role ensures the DOO roster satisfies the business requirements in accordance with relevant legislation, enterprise agreements, QR policy and procedures.What Queensland Rail has to offer:Permanent full time AS4 level position located at Bowen Hills.Up to 12.75% superannuation.Free Citytrain travel to and from work.Access to many Queensland Rail competitive employee benefits including a Fitness Passport.Shifts:Monday to Friday shifts coverage from 0500 - 2100 with a current trial of 7 day coverage being considered.Shift start times include 0500, mid shift commencing between 0800 and 1030 and late shifts commencing at 1230.Overview of responsibilities:Day Of Operations rostering duties including shift swaps, fatigue management, ad hoc absenteeism coverage, payroll and admin duties while adhering to business and industrial agreements.Planning and preparing rosters across multiple business areas while ensuring the rostered resources are allocated to meet special events, maintenance programs and planned and unplanned service disruptions.Maintaining and applying the required knowledge of the various rostering guidelines, rules, agreements, and legislation that must be applied in the creation of RMC&O Rosters.Contribution to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures to ensure rostering best practices are achieved.What you will bring to the team:Previous rostering and FAID experience required.Advanced level knowledge of MS office.Excellent prioritisation and organisational skills.High level of attention to detail with an analytical mindset.Comfortable in high paced working environments.Adaptable to change and solutions focused.Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.Strong communication and interpersonal skills including conflict management, consultation, and negotiation skills.For further information about this role click here to view the Position Description.#J-18808-Ljbffr
