We are seeking a skilled and experienced Rope Access Painter to join us in creating visually stunning and enduring spaces. As a Painter at Remtech, you will play a crucial role in delivering & undertaking pilot projects to verify solutions and the preparation of a detailed work that can deliver the most cost effective and best results for private and commercial sectors.
Your responsibilities will include surface preparation, colour matching and precise application of paints and finishes.
Duties and Responsibilities Interact with residential and commercial clients to grasp their colour preferences, offering suggestions for paint colours that match their personal or brand style. Set up and take down scaffolding and ladders for accessing elevated areas like tall walls or ceilings that need painting. Choose and prepare paints, blending colours to achieve the desired shade or colour scheme specified by the client. Apply durable coatings in commercial spaces to ensure they withstand heavy traffic and require minimal maintenance. Take precautions to shield floors, furniture, and other items in the work area from paint splatters or damage during painting, such as using drop cloths. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, stripping old paint, sanding, filling cracks, and priming, ensuring a smooth and clean surface for painting. Use various techniques like brushing, rolling, or spraying to apply paint, varnish, wallpaper, or other finishes, enhancing the appearance and protecting surfaces and buildings. Pay close attention to detail, ensuring precise and professional finishes on trim, corners, and edges. Clean up equipment and the work area after completing the project, removing any leftover materials. Follow local regulations and safety standards for using paints and finishes, especially in commercial settings where adherence to codes is crucial. Requirements Relevant certification in painting or a related fieldAt least 2 years' of experience as a Painter in private and commercial settingsExpertise in surface preparation and various painting techniquesStrong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanshipExcellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members Salary Offer: $80,000–$100,000
