Our client is seeking a highly skilled AO6 Senior Management Accountant to join their team in Brisbane. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide high-level financial support and advice, actively participate in the preparation of annual budget estimates, and contribute to the ongoing development of a wide range of business strategies.
Contract Details: 9 month contract Based South Brisbane with WFH flexibility Attractive hourly rate What you'll do: Provide high level financial support and advice to the Manager for business operations. Actively involved in the preparation of a program's annual budget estimates. Maximise accountability, efficiency and compliance with financial management policy, standards and practices. Provide high level financial analysis, scenario planning, forecasting and reporting. Offer expert advice to improve financial performance and accountability. Provide specialist advice on expenditure and revenue accounting targets. Manage a complex budget with the management team. Provide advice on financial management and governance policy. Establish effective relationships across the department. Ad-hoc duties as required. What you'll bring: Knowledge of SAP essential. Government financial experience is highly desirable. Ability to provide high level financial support and advice. Excellent relationship building skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
