Our Risk & Ethics - Independence team advises the PwC firm and its people about their compliance with regulations and policies that apply to them. We operate compliance testing processes and provide support systems and controls, blending technical skills and strategy to advise our internal functions and teams with spectacular results. And our team is expanding. We're looking for Risk & Ethics (Independence) - Senior Associate to help the firm, its partners and staff manage a range of regulatory and professional requirements to ensure the firm's independence from audit and assurance clients within our vast community of solvers.

We work from anywhere, so your strong communication skills and team ethos will get a workout. You'll learn plenty as you work with other members of the Independence team and other stakeholders to create, update, improve and document business operations through digitisation and automation of business processes in a workplace that's human-led and tech-enabled.
As an expert in audit and compliance, you'll solve problems by working on a daily basis with senior members of the Independence team and with client facing partners and staff on a variety of independence matters, providing advice and performing key compliance procedures as required. In our Risk & Ethics - Independence team, you'll also:
Develop end to end Power BI reporting solutions with a strong focus on data integration and data preparation by leveraging tools such as Alteryx and Power BI. Assist with projects on the rollout of new systems and technologies relating to the management of critical risk areas. Help uplift the digital skills and reporting capabilities within the Independence team with your skills, experience and knowledge of reporting including connecting data from varied sources. Manage your workflow as appropriate, reporting to managers and senior managers on the team. Attend training sessions to develop a strong independence knowledge base. Assist with other areas of the Independence team as required. More About You You have solid experience working in a reporting or data analyst role. Experience working in a professional environment within audit and compliance is preferred but not essential. No previous Independence experience is necessary. We will provide thorough training in both a formal and informal capacity. You are proficient with Alteryx, Power BI dataflows, queries, DAX and proficient in data preparation and workflow integration. You are proficient with Google (G Suite) and Office 365 applications. You are a design thinker with a continuous learning mindset who is keen to explore new solutions and be open to change. Your analytical and communication skills, including your ability to work independently with limited supervision and within a team environment will be crucial for this role. Support will constantly be available following initial training provided. You are commercially aware and have the willingness to work with the client facing business to provide practical and timely advice as required. Your excellent interpersonal skills will enable you to manage stakeholders effectively. Most importantly, you act with integrity and show care for the people you work with. This role will provide coverage for an employee who is on parental leave for 12 months.
