We are looking for a Risk Manager who will be a fundamental pillar and integral member who will be joining our Wealth tribe. Please note this is a 12-month fixed term contract. You'll be someone who has a good understanding of either superannuation, investment or general insurance (Wealth) products and how they work, an understanding of 3 Lines of defense models, self-motivated, has good analytical and communication skills and a basic understanding of agile working practices.
You'll be participating in all Wealth risk and remediation activities to support ING to continue to grow within the regulatory and internal risk environments, also supporting and driving Wealth stakeholders in the identification and review of all operational risks in the product lifecycles, designing mitigating controls and underlying processes. You'll be working with 2nd line to ensure regulatory obligation related controls are properly designed and operated, and driving top down reviews of the Wealth portfolio to identify inadequate processes and contribute to the future projects to help improve ING's end to end processes.

What are you going to do? You will be… Managing and governing the risk and compliance aspects of the existing super and insurance portfolios across a squad structure.Identifying and assessing the risks to Wealth portfolio and developing mitigating controls to manage.Owning or participating in root cause analysis for open risks and assist or own the implementation of solutions to prevent the recurrence.Supporting implementation of regulatory changes.Helping to design risk and compliance strategy for Wealth products in keeping with ING's brand, local and global strategic and regulatory objective.Providing support to internal and external stakeholders.Supporting in aligning the various stakeholders' differing interests, ensuring that the team's interests and priorities are met.What are we looking for? Someone who has… 2+ years' experience risk/product related role.3+ years' experience in a financial services background.Knowledge of the Australian wealth industry.A sound understanding of relevant prudential standards and obligations relating to superannuation/insurance.Strong written and verbal skills.The ability to negotiate with all levels of management and external stakeholders to influence decisions, make recommendations and implement change.Strong attention to detail.What's in it for you?
