A Sanctions Risk Analyst performs a review on escalated SWIFT, NPP and Trade transactions that are relative to sanctions screening. This will be in the form of real-time monitoring, inbound as well as outbound calls. As part of the Sanctions Operations team, you will be required to conduct due diligence on escalated transactions to eliminate any sanctions concerns on behalf of the Group.
This is a full-time, 12 months max term opportunity based at our Parramatta office. You must be available to work between 7am - 8:30pm Monday to Friday including public holidays.
Key Accountabilities: Receive and review escalated Sanctions alerts (In system and Manual Alerts)Respond to Complex Enquiries (International Payments and Operations) emailsLiaise with various stakeholders including Business Units, Relationship Managers and/or Customers to obtain information required to complete the due diligence assessmentRespond to questions from Business Units in relation to Sanctions operational mattersReview and acknowledge and comply with all policy and procedures What do I need? Excellent communication and stakeholder management skillsThe ability to work autonomously and make decisionsUnderstanding and applying the principles of Risk ManagementStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks within agreed timeframesContinuously look for improvements to systems, processes and effectively challenge the way we do things How do I apply?
