Finance BCM provides functional risk management services to Group CFO, Group CFO Office, Customer and Corporate Services (CCS) CFO, and Finance Division GMs.
How will I help?
As a Risk Analyst in the Finance BCM team, you will be responsible for applying tools, controls, and processes to monitor risk as well as supporting the consistent implementation and embedment of risk management across the Finance Division and CCS CFO team.
Reporting into the Head of Finance BCM, you will also support risk management, financial reporting, tax, compliance, and prudential processes in accordance with Westpac Frameworks, Policies and Standards.

Completion of control self-assessmentsPreparation of key risk reporting for Finance BCMSupporting Finance Risk Committee preparationRaising awareness and supporting the strengthening of a proactive risk cultureBuilds an understanding of the possible causes of incidents by research and analysisDevelops understanding of risk to business outcomesDevelops an understanding of business accountabilities in managing business assets via application of effective monitoring and control mechanismsAssists in the review of controls and monitoring programsChecks documentation & data as directedApplies monitoring tools, controls and processes to monitor the businessCollects data using appropriate systems and presents it for analysis What do I need?
To be successful in this role you must have foundational risk controls experience, with business acumen in Finance and have demonstrable experience in maintaining compliance. You are also a customer-focused individual with the ability to work effectively in teams.
