Ascott boasts over 30 years of industry track record and award-winning brands that enjoy recognition worldwide.About the roleThe Revenue Performance Manager is a key role within the corporate Revenue and Distribution team, representing all brands in Australia - Quest Apartment Hotels, Citadines, Lyf, Oakwood & Somerset. This hands-on role requires an astute eye for detail and commercial strategy development to deliver revenue outcomes for the portfolio. With multiple stakeholders, success in the role will require efficient time management, stakeholder management and the ability to execute and monitor various strategies across the portfolio.Responsibilities:Implement short-term and long-term strategies to drive growth of revenue and improve year-on-year results for the defined portfolio of properties across either the managed hotels or Quest franchised network.Implement revenue management methods and practices to optimise revenue outcomes for the defined portfolio, through the creation of a strong revenue culture within the property teams.Complete monthly forecasting by segment for each property in the defined portfolio.Chair regular meetings with each property and conduct informal meetings to drive revenue culture at property level.In conjunction with the central distribution team, optimise the performance of distribution partners and execute tactical campaigns as required.About youThe ideal candidate will have detailed experience in revenue management within the accommodation industry and experience in managing a multi-property portfolio are essential. An understanding of franchising as a business model would be advantageous.As you will be working with a large and diverse portfolio of properties, it is essential to be highly organised and have an efficient manner of working. We are looking for an independent thinker, who can work with multiple stakeholders to achieve commercial outcomes.We are utilising RMS as its PMS, SiteMinder or Synxis Sabre for channel management, combined with several revenue management tools and systems. The ability to demonstrate competence in those systems would allow you to excel in the role quickly and would therefore be a distinct advantage.This role can be either permanent and ongoing or you can elect to be placed on a 12-month fixed term contract with the potential option of permanent and ongoing.
