Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation: The Retail Operations Analyst supports the Retail Consumer Excellence Manager and the Own Retail channel in delivering sustainable and profitable retail market share growth through reporting, analysis, recommendations, project implementation, platform maintenance, profit protection, and rollouts.
Analysing data and providing recommendations based upon findings to the Retail Consumer Excellence Manager to enhance Retail Operations and optimise net sales performance in the Pacific market.Supporting the profit protection compliance within the Pacific Retail market through the implementation and driving of reporting, initiatives, platforms, projects and capabilities.Assisting with the facilitation, rollouts and updates to Retail operational projects and programs.Enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of communications and reporting for the Pacific Retail market through the maintenance, upgrading and improvement of platforms.Completing and supporting ad-hoc and administrative tasks where required by Retail Consumer Excellence Manager and Training and/or Director, Retail Operations.Key Responsibilities: Analytics Creating, modifying, maintaining and improving reporting templates and tools through enhancement opportunities and research to provide clear, concise, and accurate data.Making recommendations to the Retail Consumer Excellence Manager on operational opportunities at the market level by analysing Retail KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and local Retail trends and requirements.Identifying and communicating Market needs and best practices to the Retail Consumer Excellence Manager.Providing reporting and analysis to key stakeholders for projects and ad-hoc requests within required timelines.Regularly communicating agreed upon analysis to key stakeholders to enable "buy-in" and increase transparency within the Retail Pacific market.Profit Protection Coordinating the stocktake calendar and execution for all Pacific Retail locations, while exercising compliance with Non-Trade Procurement requirements.Supporting in the subsequent investigations of relevant Pacific Retail locations to achieve best practice and ensure compliance with company Profit Protection requirements.Monitoring and reporting on shrinkage and supporting the Retail Consumer Excellence Manager by providing recommendations on enhancements, improvements, and implementation to reduce loss and increase profits.Collaborating with local and EM (Emerging Markets) Internal Controls & Profit Protection departments to drive improved operation standards and profitability in Retail stores.Supporting the improvement of Profit Protection audit scoring across the Retail Pacific market by providing feedback and proposals to the Retail Consumer Excellence Manager and Training and/or Director Retail on advanced executions.Platforms Managing and maintaining all Retail platforms, systems and tools including (but not limited to): aLS, ThinkTime, Pacific Retail SharePoint sites, GROW.Implementing and driving aligned Retail communication strategy with the day-to-day administration and management of associated platforms.Researching enhancements and alternatives to existing platforms, providing feedback to the Retail Consumer Excellence Manager and Training and/or Director Retail on potential upgrades.Undertaking the end-to-end testing of existing platforms to ensure optimum functionality in the event of upgrades or projects being executed.Supporting in the rollout, communication and embedding of new and existing platforms within the Pacific Retail market.Projects Providing support for key operational projects and programs, including system integrations, omni-hub, workforce management systems, operational and reporting systems.Owning the end-to-end and completing assigned Global, EM or local projects within agreed-upon timelines.Undertaking post-project analysis into the effectiveness of completed projects and providing insight and feedback on improvements of the projects to the Retail Consumer Excellence with a minimum of 5 years' experience of retail operations.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including impactful presentation skills, influencing, negotiating and the ability to lead discussions in diverse groups of varying sizes.Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with key/cross-functional stakeholders and team members along with willingness to set and maintain high standards of performance.Impeccable time management, organisational and analytical skills.Technologically adept, with high proficiency with systems, and software packages including MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel.Knowledge and understanding of profit and loss statement and store KPIs to make commercial decisions based on sound financial judgement.Requisite Education and Experience/Minimum Qualifications: University degree in business (ideally with retail or business focus) or equivalent relevant experience.Minimum of 5 years' experience in the retail and trade marketing Industry, ideally in apparel/fashion/shoes or FMCG, with an operational background.What's on offer?
