We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Retail Manager to join our team and contribute to our continued success.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the supermarket, ensuring sales goals and profitability targets are met. Maintain high standards of store presentation, including product displays of Indian groceries, fresh produce, spices, and packaged foods. Manage inventory levels, ensuring timely restocking of popular items. Recruit, train, supervise, and develop supermarket staff, fostering a positive work environment. Conduct performance reviews and set goals for staff. Ensure outstanding customer service, addressing inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly. Develop and execute sales strategies, collaborating with the marketing team on promotional activities tailored to Indian grocery products. Analyze sales data to identify trends and improve store performance. Monitor competitors and adjust strategies accordingly. Prepare and manage the store budget, monitor financial performance, and implement cost control measures. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure a consistent and diverse inventory of Indian groceries and specialty products. Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail management, preferably in the grocery or supermarket industry. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and improving store performance. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Proficiency in using retail management software and MS Office Suite. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
