About the role We are seeking an assistant store manager to help lead and inspire a team of sales staff. This is a 10-day fortnight part-time position and may involve evenings and weekends. The successful applicant must have strong organisational and time management skills and be a natural salesperson.
The successful applicant must demonstrate an affinity for this industry and be prepared to test and review free sample products to gain insight for sales and training purposes. We are looking for someone with initiative who can prepare and drive initiatives and not just maintain the status quo.

Duties Responsible to and under the supervision of the store manager, the assistant store manager is responsible for all day-to-day operations when they are rostered. This includes:
Store Open / Close Sales Merchandising Marketing Staff supervision and coaching Stock control, receipt, transfer, stocktake and ordering. All necessary day-to-day operations. Skills, Experience and Prerequisites MUST be aged 18 years or older. MUST be available to work any of Be Daring's trading hours. MUST have professional standards of personal presentation. MUST have good computer skills & reasonable keyboard speed (min 25wpm). MUST own a telephone. MUST have a driver's license and own vehicle (due to late-night trading). MUST be prepared to appear in social media photographs and/or video. MUST have a strong retail background and experience. Min 3 years in retail. MUST be able to work without a cigarette break when rostered alone. Previous merchandising experience preferred. Mature candidates are encouraged to apply.
