No35 is seeking a motivated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join the team.
The successful candidate will have a passion for the culinary scene and an interest in developing their skills with the view to become a Restaurant Manager one day.
Job Description Provide supervision, support and ongoing training to ambassadors to ensure standards and procedures are observed to provide a consistent, high level of service for all guest contact.
Demonstrate 'ownership' of the outlet through commitment to the following areas of responsibility:
Supervision, support and ongoing training to ambassadors to ensure standards and procedures are observed to provide a consistent, high level of service for all guest contact.Focus on exceeding guest expectations at every opportunity and providing and leading a Cousu Main experience for guests.Provide food and beverage service to guests, maximising every opportunity to increase sales per person.Liaise with Conferencing and Reservations for specialised catering as required.Liaise with Restaurant Reservations as to upcoming bookings, time frames and maximum number of people at one period.Input into development of the outlet.Cost control and guest awareness.Work with ambassadors to minimise wastage and breakages.Work cohesively as a team member. Qualifications Minimum 1-2 years experience as Supervisor within a restaurant or hotel.Passion for the industry with a willingness to learn.Ability to remain calm and effective during high pressure situations.Not afraid to deal with challenging situations.Be a good team player; contribute to and assist co-workers without being asked.Flexibility to work a rotating roster including mornings or evenings, weekends and public holidays.
