Images Restaurant, Cafe & Cocktail Bar is an established and well-known family restaurant in Warrnambool, offering great value lunches, delicious evening meals, decadent desserts, excellent children's menu and several vegetarian and gluten free choices.
Located in a beautiful heritage building in the heart of the Liebig Street dining precinct, Images Restaurant, Cafe & Cocktail Bar provides a great ambience for guests dining-in, with options for takeaway and deliveries also available. Images is also available for hire as a wedding reception venue or function room for events.
About the role
Images requires a qualified and experienced full-time Restaurant Manager to lead our kitchen operations team and front of house staff. Suitable applicants should have extensive experience as a café or restaurant manager in recognised hotels and/or restaurants.
The main duties of this position include but are not limited to:

Menu planning (alongside Kitchen operations team);
Purchasing of supplies in accordance with budget;
Maintaining stock levels;
Planning and organising functions, including catering for weddings;
Selecting, training and supervising waiting and kitchen staff;
Responsible for customer satisfaction;
Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and regulations.

Suitable candidates should:

Have strong leadership and team-building skills;
Effective communication abilities;
Strong organisational skills for menu planning and event coordination;
Budgeting and cost control skills;
Commitment to excellent customer service and satisfaction;
Attention to detail in food quality, cleanliness, and compliance;
Adaptability to handle the fast-paced and changing nature of the restaurant industry.

A full-time contract for at least two years will be offered, extendable for a further term. In addition to the annual salary, the compulsory Super Guarantee Contribution will be payable.

Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate: WARRNAMBOOL, VIC 3280 - Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
Experience:

Restaurant management: 3 years (Preferred)
