About Gambino:Set to open in November, Gambino is set over 2 levels with a Restaurant on level 5 and Rooftop with sweeping views of the Dandenong Mountains on level 6. This will be the first venue of its kind in Glen Waverley and of this nature in South East Melbourne. With Glen Waverley station a 3 minute walk or plenty of parking, it's the suburban change you might be looking for.About Us:We're seasoned operators, with 5 restaurants between us, 4 currently in the Glen Waverley area with Gambino being the 5th. We are comfortable in knowing our clientele and have support networks through our venues that sit walking distance away. We're excited to bring something unique to Kingsway and reinvigorate this bustling strip.The Opportunity:We are looking for a leader in the industry to join and lead the opening team of Gambino.Main Role Responsibilities:Assist in the set up of operational systems.Provide training to FOH crew, supervisors and bar managers.Provide an exceptional experience to guests.Liase with kitchen to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction is met.Assist with operational & financial tasks.Building a strong team culture.Experience, Skills & Attributes:Restaurant management experience in large dining environments.Strong leadership and focus on team.Strong service skills and guest focus.Proven ability in building relationships with staff and suppliers.Understanding of management and restaurant expectations.Strong communication and time management skills.RSA certificate.This role is exciting but not for the inexperienced.
