About The Role
The Customer Response team is responsible for ensuring the education, safety, and amenity of the Sunshine Coast Community.
As a Response Services Administration Officer, you will provide high-level administrative support services to internal and external stakeholders. This position requires a high level of professionalism and customer service skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi-function team within the Response Services branch and across the council.
About You
As a Response Services Administration Officer, you will contribute to the day-to-day administration within Council's Response Services branch including high-level administration, data processing, and workload management associated with regulatory enforcement.
You will assist with the day-to-day processes associated with infringement support functions, including event processing, data downloads, vehicle registration searches, issuing infringement notices and reminder notices, registering unpaid infringements with the State Penalties Enforcement Registry (SPER), assisting with the review of incoming infringement correspondence related to local and state legislation, and assisting senior officers in an administrative capacity with projects and change management.
The position includes front desk, phone, and administration support services such as customer contact, filing, record management, photocopying, and data entry, financial functions as well as the provision of timely and accurate information in response to internal and external enquiries.
As a requirement of this role, you will possess a Certificate IV in Business Administration/Local Government or other relevant disciplines or equivalent relevant experience, and previous relevant experience with demonstrated customer service and communication skills in the provision of information in person, email, telephone, and other routine business correspondence.
The successful applicant will possess strong attention to detail and the ability to follow tasks through to completion, along with sound computer skills in typing, data entry, and preparing simple Word documents, PowerPoint presentations, and Excel spreadsheets. A demonstrated ability to learn other computer applications as required.
A current "C" class driver's license is required.
Appointment to this position is subject to the satisfactory completion of a Criminal History Check.
